The Return

mourner Oh yes, this is so good! While it really is symphonic (and more so than 'Majestic') it still manages to provide us with these great cold melodies and with some very intense aggression. The vocals are perfect for that style. The symphonic elements add very much atmosphere to the songs. Each song is great on it's own. Haimad really understand to build their songs and everything I know from them is at least very good. But I do only know this two EP's and that is not enough. I need more! Favorite track: Upon A Throne Of Ice.

Funeral Fog Need more from this band, incredible symphonic black metal with a rich & dark storyline! Favorite track: The Prophecy.

The Return 07:17
1.Under stars in shadows shimmering (The return)

The silent earth
The wind was raging on the silent earth
Over mountains cold
And streams that never found the sea

The withered earth
The wind was raging on the withered earth
Over forests old
And temples long forgotten

Where everything is gone Where everything is silent

 The spirits linger
Frozen in time
Under stars in shadows shimmering The spirits linger
Frozen in time
Under stars in shadows shimmering

For those who dwell in earthly woe
In ageless memories
Buried by time
Under the never ending night sky
We have returned
We have returned
We have returned
From the breathless slumber
We have returned We have returned
We have returned
To reclaim what once was ours

 The spirits linger
Frozen in time
 Under stars in shadows shimmering
The spirits linger
Frozen in time
Under stars in shadows shimmering We have returned
We have returned
We have returned
From the breathless slumber
We have returned We have returned
We have returned Under the never ending night sky

The Prophecy 05:04
2.We who carries the key of secrets (The prophecy)

This is the world we have longed for
Where everything is gone
Set ablaze by the fires of man
Only ashes are left to tell of their fate

Caller of storms
 Echoes of battle
Death and destruction
End this world and all that ever was

When the day has turned to night
And the earth is swept in shadows
We shall awake and inherit the earth

We who carries the key of secrets
Shall awake the dormant gods
This is the end and the beginning

This is the end…

Caller of storms
Death and destruction Echoes of battle
End this world and all that ever was

Caller of storms
Echoes of battle
Death and destruction
End this world and all that ever was Massive rain of fire Oceans of blood Black clouds of thunder The prophecy This is the end and the beginning Caller of storms
Echoes of battle
Death and destruction
End this world and all that ever was Echoes of battle
Death and destruction

3.Upon a throne of ice

 Only dust moves
in these lifeless halls
Set in motion ages ago
Floating in time
Spirits lingers
Through the darkness
As memories of a treacherous past

On a throne of ice he sleeps
Timeless
Waiting ...
Waking
To return Waiting ...
Waking
To return

4.The cold earth slept below (My kingdom of cold)
The cold earth slept below
Farewell now mountains old
And forests we used to roam
Farewell now moon and stars
And rivers that fed the sea

The storm that marks the end
Has come to reap the world
The wind is growing colder
And shivering are we Where winter rages to the end of time
The cold earth slept below
The cold earth slept below
When the final star has faded
And everything is gone
We all shall sleep,
and never awake
To the scent of spring

Farewell now mountains old
And forests we used to roam
Farewell now moon and stars
And rivers that fed the sea

Where winter rages to the end of time
The cold earth slept below

Where winter rages to the end of time
The cold earth slept below
